Well, as you can see I'm moving on.  This is not my last blog ever nor am I dying.  This blog is just the last one that will be on Livejournal.  After the blog run I've had here I'm moving on to http://achverha.wordpress.com.  In addition to this new home for the blog, I have added an additional one for my RuneScape stuff which will find it's way on http://sailorscoutx.wordpress.com.  It's being added because I wish not to take time and having to post the same blog twice one here and one on MySpace.com so to make it easier for transition just go to the first link above for the continuation of this blog and the 2nd link for the new RuneScape blog.

For once in this blog I actually get to do something strange.  I get to talk about "What is Normal?".  Just exactly what is it?  Does it really exist?  Webster defines it as "According with, constituting, or not deviating from a norm, rule, or principle b: conforming to a type, standard, or regular pattern."  But, just what does it mean?

In this day and age no one or nothing is normal!  Normal is just a state of mind.  This is because what can be normal to someone maybe weird or strange to another.  Take my friend Keith for example, some people may think he is a little weird for being a dork at times, but let's face facts to him the way he acts, is normal to him.  Or take the mind of thought, people may think I'm weird for being gay, but honestly it's my lifestyle and I find it normal because it's nature's way for telling me that my heart does not belong finding a woman but it's searching for my soul mate whose a man that makes sense.  See just because Keith or myself for that matter may think something is normal might not always seem that way to other people.

I could continue on with a list of normal or weird stuff, but ya know I'd probably be typing out this little blog until my death.  But anyway, please post what you think of "Being Normal", and lets just see what it means to you...

Well everyone with the close of Toonami last week, a lot of you fans were stunned.  The programming block that lasted for 11.5 years finally made it's farewell to all which also brought in shows that we loved such as Tenchi Muyo, Sailor Moon, Dragonball Z, etc.  Well I guess we're either going to have to wait until Cartoon Network brings it back, or they decide to bring in a whole new Anime-style programming block (let's hope for one of those) to be added.

In other news:
Everyone knows spawning from 2004 to 2008 I have released a number of Anime Music Videos on both:  http://www.youtube.com/user/XxDrewblexX and AnimeMusicVideos.org.  And recently finding out that one of my videos "Sailor Moon Through the Years has been torrented as well.  To continue on tradition, I will be releasing shortly on this year "Slipping Through my Moon Fingers" using scenes of  Usagi (Serena) and Chibi-USA (Rini) to the song "Slipping Through My Fingers" sung by Meryl Streep from the film Mamma Mia!  Another one though being tossed around which will probably be slated is one again of Usagi with Motoki (Andrew), Mamoru (Darien), and Seiya (Seiya) to the song of "Mamma Mia", but this is merely just being tossed around right now.  Though I'm afraid that Headlines: A Sailor Senshi Tribute did not really rank well; however, 2007's amv of I'll Be Your Everything has done well with youtube.com audiences, which I am pleased to say that's good, release privately in May of 2008, then released to publich August 2008, the AMV has taken 30,000+ views on youtube alone.  Which is good keep on viewing.  The AMV You We're Meant for Me is currently the only AMV of mine to be released privately on June 18, 2007 (it was a birthday gift for someone and remains my only public unreleased AMV to date, though what I was thinking about doing is talking with the birthday boy himself and see if he'll allow me to release it to public, but replace the original opening and ending credits with new ones.  Finally the last one there are two I'm going to try to slate for 2009, one of them dealing with Inuyasha, mainly about Miroku to the song of "Ass Man" from the WWF Music Volume 4, and the other my still in the works Mother's Day video of Ikkuko Tsukino, Usagi, and Chibi-USA as the main feature to the Spice Girls' song "Mama".  This is if I don't get lazy.  Also slated, that I'm going to probably throw in as a special youtube only release, "The Golden Scouts" in honor of Estelle Getty.

Ever wonder how a furry chooses the animal they are?  Well there are many theories, erm well not really many but there are quite a few of them, the one that drew me into it would have to be that we really do not choose our animals, yet they choose us.

 

What the heck does that mean?

- This answer is simple answered:  To many there are beliefs that we all have an animal spirit that guides us.  This probably stems from some of the Native American tribal beliefs where it’s said that they all have a spiritual guide.  There are also portions of it stemming from Japanese mythology, more specifically Kyoto, that their spirit guardians are animals.  And 1 more from the Chinese zodiac.

-  Everyone has one of them.  And we all probably show signs of them.  Whether we’re courageous as the tiger or great strength of the dragon, we all have our own way of picking.  Some of us may be vain and go by our beauty of a puppy or a dove.  We just feel it.

 

Now the age selection process is more or less the point of thought that your animal is the “Naive or innocent” means that your animal spirit is that an equivalent to a baby fur.  If your animal spirit is based around stuff like music or tv or stuff like that a Teenager would do then your spirit is the equivalent to a “Teenage Fur”.  Those with one wise beyond their years is a “Wismatic Fur”.  The ones that are caretaker or parental types would fall under the categories of “Parent-Fur”, “Dadfur” or “Momfur”.

 

Next time you think about your fursona or even your guardian spirits think about the animals that may or maynot choose you.

Well, your probably all wondering what today's blog is about.  Well last night me, my bro KC, and friend Chuck went to go see "Batman: the Dark Knight" for it's midnight premiere at Movies 14.

Those who are true Batman fans should go and see this movie.  The movie's plot line is nicely paced in the movie.  And for Heath Ledger fans, you guys should definitely see his "Swan Song" performance as the Joker.  Though the movie was in post-production when he came to his unfortunately demise.  However, his performance was awesome and in this person's opinion the best Joker to date.

Though here's a few tips if you're going to go to a premier:
Hopefully for you movie buffs and vetran goers know that.  Also the most important tip, have fun and enjoy yourself.

This blog is all about true friends and friendships that really will never end!  Let's see this week has been full of events, starting with last Thursday.

Hmm...

Last Thursday was not just your typical day for me.  Let's see I started by heading over to a friend of mine name Chuck.  He and my big bro of Keith both planned a little treat for me the weekend before my birthday.  They decide to finally take me to the beach.  Last year Keith had promised to do this for me but financially and physically it wasn't able to happen.  But this year was different.  He was able to keep his promise to me.   During the beach trip on Friday, we visited "Lucy the Elephant".  It's not just a normal elephant, whereas it was a hotel @ one point and then became a museum about it.  Following that we went to the hotel that we were staying at in Ocean City, NJ.  Then we went to the beach on the first day and then checked out some of the boardwalk!!!!  The 2nd day we had donuts, checked out more the boardwalk and also da beach, which some fun shell collecting!!!  Another fun portion was that night we also saw "Hancock" unfortunately I can't review it at the moment due to the fact I fell asleep in it and no one woke me up :(.  Then the last day we had some more fun by shopping, and finally got a good day on the beach!!!  I had a very good time, and thank you to the two that planned that out :).

The next event happened Monday night.  Now normally I would not have asked this of him but since I could not spend the night cuddling with my boyfriend into the morning of my birthday.  I asked Keith to do that, not just because it was the 2nd best thing but also he's my bro and I figured if I couldn't with my boyfriend then the idea was to cuddle with my big bro as to make the morning really special to me which it was :).

Tuesday was very very intresting.  This is cause it was my 21st birthday.  The night of that, I was very intrigued we went to Applebee's (and not Appleby's as I seemed to have kinda made a error in spelling).  I had my first legal drink.  Though I was had a good meal, they got some of the members of the staff to sing which kinda made me turn red .  Hehe but honestly they also got me a few gifts which they did not have to do.  Well from them they got me a nice Mikasa glass bowl, a vinyl album from "the Wiz" (Chuck remembered that from a story in highschool that I mentioned that I was in the production), and a cute lil tiger hat (cause of my furry side).  But probably the best thing they got me was the card.  It wasn't the gift that made it special, it was the card!!!  On it was a Kitty and a Puppy, which what was said in/on it that "they were friends that valued the true meaning of friendship."  They both signed it and kinda did a lil doodle on it which made it really special.  They weren't the best but, I didn't care it was the meaning behind it that was what I cared about.  On the car ride home, I started to tear up because of it :).

This is now the point of my blog.  When you have friends who would do something like that for you and make you feel special like that, you really don't need fancy things or money, cause it's true happiness that you find in it and not something you can buy, which is the most important thing in the world.  And honestly I would not trade them in for anything.  They are two of my best friends and also I just wanna say to them,  Thank you so much, I really appreciate what you two did and I love you two :) <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

My next blog is another Spice blog about their songs "Time Goes By"  and "Oxygen".  Which can be found as tracks 8 and 10 on their album Forever.

Both songs, when I listen to them make me think of the people that I love.  Mainly two in perticular, Rich, who is my boyfriend, and Keith who is a brother to me.  I know, I know I am a sap sometimes, but these are two songs that I find most appropriate.  The song "Oxygen"'s message, is that Love is like oxygen, and even though like there may not seem to be any there.  It is always a part of life and you cannot live without it.  The song "Time Goes By" actually is more for on the lines of me and Rich or me and Keith depending on where you wanna place the lines.  The song means to me when your with the ones you love, it can actually seem like time is standing still, whether it is with a kiss or a hug, or even something special, Time knows no bounds with it.  I think of this quote from the song "As You hold me close so tenderly, and watch you fall to sleep.  I see in you the one who now completes the half of me I used to be."  This quote, sung by Victoria Beckham, really is what pulls the song together.  To me I think of this when I cuddle with either one of them, because without either one, I'd truly be lost, which is why I cuddle with them for a reason, and that's pretty much the main focus of it.  It's out of the best intentions and though it might annoy them sometimes, I do it out of love.

Yes i know this is the 2nd post in this blog I've made that is a song reference.  This time is around it's the Spice Girl's song "Headlines (Friendship Never Ends)".  This song to me shows that even though if your really friends with someone, then that friendship will never end!!!  Also the headlines is that for of true friends you may want to shout it from the rooftops :).  So really if you have true friendships with something they will never end.  But I think posh's part said it's best, "the words yet to be spoken will fall upon the page, spelling out true devotion is all we need to say".  To me that means that true friends will know Exactly what you are thinking, and you really don't need to say it, such as if your sad about something they will know.

Okay, today is May 13, 2008 and here's the skinny.  And no I ain't talkin' bout my body.  I'm talking about the new blog.  Yesterday I went out with friends of mine and ended up going to go see "Speed Racer".

    In this movie, the story depicts a young boy name Speed whose heart is into racing.  We also learn that Rex Racer was killed in a car crash during the most dangerous of races.  Along with the Racer fun. There is the cute and lovable Trixie, Mom and Pops, and also crazy races.  Just one word of advice, when you watch the movie you'll never view normal Nascar Racing the same way, you'll probably wish the racing was the same there.

    Before we went to the movies, me and a friend did go out for Lunch @ at Long John Silvers; however, that was not the best part.  The best part was going to the Pet Store right nextdoor.  There we played with some cute kittens (mew mew mew) and a puppy.  Unfortunately I can neither afford nor have a pet in my current place at this time due to landlord's rules (which fucking suck).  We also went to Toys "R" Us also, and well we definitely had fun there.  And finally went to target (however we kinda discovered i'm really bad when it comes to shopping at times, I tend to have Shopper's A.D.D.  But all in all that was fun.

    After the movie me and my friends just went up to the Mall and best buy and then pretty much ended the day there.  So all in all it was a fun day.  Hopefully, if/when I see the Death Note Live Action Movie (in dub form).  I'll have a good review.

Today is May 9, 2008, and your all wondering, what do I mean by my blog subject, "I Turn to You".  Well it is in reference to Melanie Chilsolm's song of the same name.  The reason why I've decided to post it today was because of I was just listening to it and it also has special meaning for me as well.  The message of the song to me means that when you find someone whom you can have a special friendship with and turn to them for support, they can turn to you for the same support when they need it.  Also that those who are that close will always be there for you and vice versa.
